Volunteer Opportunities

There are over 25 different Volunteer Committees to choose from, including marshals, scoring / leaderboards and other committees that focus on assisting spectators, players, caddies and even other volunteers.

COMPETITIONS

Laser Operators Assist PGA TOUR staff with the compilation of player statistics. Each hole will have several volunteers to track each player's shot using lasers. Shifts vary according to tee times.

Marshals Provide gallery control for the tournament by monitoring all golf course crosswalks, tee boxes, greens, clubhouse, and practice areas.

Scoring / Leaderboards Assist PGA TOUR scoring officials in the main scoring area as well as maintaining manual scoreboards. CLOSED

Standard Bearers Walk with playing groups and display their scores in relation to par. Volunteers will need to walk 18 holes with their assigned groups. Committee requires heavy lifting and physical activity. Shifts vary according to tee times. CLOSED

Walking Scorers Communicate scores and statistics with a hand-held electronic device during the Pro-Am and competitive rounds. Scorers required to walk 18 holes. Training is required. CLOSED

OPERATIONS

Golf Carts Maintain and distribute all golf carts used during the tournament. CLOSED

Supply Distribution Receive materials from suppliers and distribute throughout the tournament grounds. Committee requires heavy lifting and physical activity. CLOSED

PLAYER SERVICES

Caddie Services Provide quality service to professional caddies. Duties include registration, bib distribution and collection, and maintenance of caddie area.

Player Relief Provide set-up, distribution and maintenance of beverages, snacks and fruits to designated locations. Committee requires heavy lifting and physical activity.

Player Transportation Coordinate and provide transportation for players, families, caddies and VIP's throughout the tournament. CLOSED

Practice Range Assist players at the practice facility with all practice needs. Committee requires heavy lifting and physical activity. CLOSED

SPECTATOR SERVICES

Admissions Check tickets and credentials and greet spectators at tournament main entrance. CLOSED

Information Ambassadors Meet and greet guests, providing vital information on various points of interest, including hole locations, tee times, concessions locations, etc.

Merchandise Assist spectators in their purchase of tournament merchandise. Also assist in merchandise restocking and merchandise tent security.

Special Needs Provide cart transportation for disabled guests from main entrance to designated pick-up/drop-off locations and viewing areas. CLOSED

SPONSORS / PRO-AMS

Pro-Am Services Pro-Am responsibilities include registration of participants, golf bag organization and distribution, player assistance, collection of official scorecards, and assistance with award ceremony. CLOSED

Sponsor Services Serve as a concierge and host of the event's hospitality locations on the course, assist Marshals with noise control and Security with checking credentials. CLOSED

Sponsor Value Assist with player panels, clinics, draw/awards parties, autograph sessions, media activities and other various player/sponsor hospitality functions. CLOSED

VOLUNTEERS

TV Needs Support television broadcast production team with needs related to the event's live broadcast coverage. PM shifts only. CLOSED

Volunteer Pool Emphasis on trouble shooting and providing immediate / temporary support to other committees and areas as needed.

Volunteer Hospitality Provide hospitality for volunteers on the course and in Volunteer Headquarters. Responsible for verifying shifts, daily check-in and sales of additional apparel for volunteers. CLOSED
